Monday-Friday Hutch’s Noon ROAD ride – THE longest running stage race in the world! This is a road ride that leaves each weekday from the Bend locations. Monday, Wednesday, Friday leaves from the 3rd St. (east side store) and Tuesday, Thursday rides leave from the Columbia St (westside) location. The routes are pre-set and are on average 30-35 miles in length. The ride usually splits into the, “race,” group and, as Hutch’s puts it, the, “mere mortal,” group. This ride’s leave time can change around just a little, so as always, it’s best to call to get the scoop.
The, “Saturday ride.” – Leaves from Hutch’s 3rd st, east side, location on ROAD. Departure time depends on the time of the year. 9am Summer, 10am Fall and Winter. This is a fast 40 mile ride heading east on Hwy 20 out to Horse Ridge and back. This ride can range from an organized pace line fast ride, with a free for all up Horse Ridge, or an all our morning attack-fest.

Tuesday night, “Hammer Fest,” ROAD ride – A great Tuesday night no holds barred training ride. Route is usually the Twin Bridges 32ish mile loop providing flats, short leg breaking climbs and a few extended multiple minute climbs for your enjoyment. Departure time depends on Day Light Savings. When the ride starts before the savings, expect to leave the shop around 5pm, after DLS is becomes 6pm. Again, call for details as to when this ride starts up for the year (it doesn’t start until Spring)
Tuesday Deschutes Dirt Riders Mountain Bike ride – Brought to you by the boys at Deschutes brewery, this ride became a huge success this year and Sunnyside is proud to be involved. Meet between 5-6pm at various locations (find out by calling, or signing up for the email list http://www.deschutesbrewery.com/dirtriders/), ride with friends and then drink some beers after (not required!). Group Tshirts can be purchased for a mere $10 and all proceeds go to the Sparrow Club, helping local children in need. http://www.sparrowclubs.org/

Indoor Trainer rides – As we progress into (gulp) winter again, it is time to look at our indoor trainers and prepare for the next season. Here at Sagebrush we would love to suffer together so we will be doing “Trainerfest 2010″ at the shop. Trainer night will be every Tuesday at 6 pm Starting December 1st and will be led either by James or celebrity hosts! Please note that a minimum of 4 people need to be present and you need to bring your own trainer. We do have a couple of trainers we can loan out for $5.00.
